Our History

First National Bank of LaGrange enjoys a rich history in the village of LaGrange. Established in the 1920s by a group of local citizens, our main office still stands at the corner of Burlington and Stone Avenues, across from the historic Stone Avenue train station.

First National Bank of LaGrange is owned by FNBC of LaGrange, Inc., a registered bank holding company. With assets of over $300 million, we operate three banking offices in LaGrange, Western Springs, and LaGrange Park, providing a full range of personal and commercial deposit, loan and trust services.

We know that our success is founded on long-term relationships with satisfied customers. One of our goals is to make banking easy and convenient for you. That's why we strive to provide superior customer service and offer a complete array of financial services so you can find solutions for all of your financial needs in one place.

Whether you are managing money for your home or your business, our personal bankers, lending and trust officers are available to assist you with everything from free checking and a car loan to retirement planning, estate planning, and trust administration.
