There is no maintenance fee on savings accounts opened in the name of a minor (under 18 years of age) if the minor's social security number is used in interest reporting requirements.
Maintenance Fee...................................$3 per month (if balance falls below $300)
Transaction Limitations
Transfers from a savings account to another account or third parties by pre-authorized, automatic or telephone transfer are limited to six per month with no more than three by debit card or similar order to third parties.
Transaction Fees.............................$2 for each transaction in excess of the above limits.
Interest
You must maintain a minimum balance of $300.00 in the account each day to obtain the annual percentage yield disclosed. This minimum balance requirement is waived if the account is opened in the name of a minor and the minor's social security number is used for interest reporting requirements.
